Girl Scout Week

The week of March 9 through March 13 was Girl Scout Week in the City of Mountain Home and the State of Idaho. Mayor Rich Sykes’ proclamation applauded the Girl Scouts movement and the Girl Scouts of Silver Sage for providing girls with a safe, inclusive, all-girl space where they can hone their skills and develop leadership abilities with the year 2020 being the 108th Anniversary of the Girls Scouts of the USA and the 100th Anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment in which women received the right to vote.
