Richard McKenna Senior, Terri McCallum, of Glenns Ferry decided to help her local animal shelter for her Senior Project.
Glenns Ferry is currently in the process of fundraising for the building of a new animal shelter and McCallum saw her assignment as a way to help with that endeavour.
After visiting the shelter she saw how inadequate the old facility was and asked her parents if she could organize a pheasant hunt. Through the hunt and outside donations she raised $2,100 to go towards the new facility and hopes that it will help to inspire other people and businesses to donate to the cause.
