Modern Day Slavery, It Happens Here
The Idaho Anti-Trafficking Coalition (IATC) provided a free training at the All in One Church in Mountain Home, on Tuesday, Feb 4th, as a part of their focus on raising awareness of human trafficking in Idaho.
The evening's conversation began with IATC Co-Founder, Kevin Zielinski of Eagle, Idaho, sharing a personal story of foster-care gone bad.
The Zielinski's had become foster parents to a little girl with special needs for two to three years, at which time they needed to have her placed in a residential care facility. Unfortunately, it was discovered nine months later, when she was about nine years old, that the girls in the home were being exploited and abused.
