Saturday, December 28, 2019

The Western Elmore County Recreation District (WECRD) held a quorum at their regularly scheduled meeting Wednesday, December 18 at 6 p.m. with Lee Pierce joining by conference call.

The President, Dan Gillies, acknowledged the people in the audience, including three members from the Healing Hearts of Idaho Quilters' Club.

Betty Ashcraft, President of the Recreation Foundation of Elmore County, said they had sent out 90 letters asking for funding assistance for the aquatics facility. They are doing more investigation on new grants and are moving forward with projects that have already been identified, such as, the Movement Mortgage Grant that will be finished with the assistance of Kim Sykes.

  • Here's a suggestion.....disband this bullsh*t scam all together.

Millions collected and you're still standing on the street with your hand out.

    Reminds me of the MHSD.

Seriously? I know this is not a make up of board members that have been in charge for long but come on !!!! 20 years and what has been done? Some curbs, sidewalks and a huge pile of dirt. Either build a center be it with a pool or not or give it up. I know I am not going to pay an extra large fee to use this center if it is ever built before I pass away.
