Inventive Group LLC. held the ground breaking for their $16 million expansion on Nov. 15. At the ground breaking 102 employees of his company looked on as Chuck Ciccarelli spoke about the early days and the company's vision for the future.
The roughly 102,000 sq. ft. facility boasts 62,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space, as well as a 40,000 sq. ft. corporate office center. Employees will enjoy an 80-person training room, new cafeteria, & gym. Sales will have a brand new showroom for products, and it will also have a new recording studio where they will be producing the podcast, “Inside In The Ditch.”
"We believe if we do the right thing, the money will follow," Ciccarelli said. "I have never borrowed $1 million before in my life and now I'm about to borrow $16 million. When we look around the community, we know we've made the right decision and will do it in earnest." Ciccarelli said speaking of making the decision to expand the company right here in Mountain Home, bringing 50 more jobs to town.
He went on to say that the expansion wouldn't have happened without the land swap with the city and their willingness to work with him.
"I've seen it first hand, government can work with the right people in it," Ciccarelli continued.
Governor Brad Little was on hand for the ground breaking and spoke about the importance of bringing manufacturing back to the United States.
"The re-shoring of jobs to America has really taken hold, because of entrepreneurs like Chuck, his family and employees," Governor Little said. "Having this take place in rural areas is really important to me. This company is the face of what we want to see in Idaho. The government's job is to facilitate it."
