Thank you for youth activities

I want to thank the Elmore County Extension Office with the 4-H program and the Friends of the Library for a fun and educational Saturday with my grandson.

The Extension office held their event at their office from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. and the Friends of the Library held theirs at Legacy Park from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Great timing for adults and children to go to both and spend an enjoyable afternoon.

My grandson made a tent, learned Lego Robotics, enjoyed goldfish races and painting projects at the Extension Office with the 4-H crew. He practiced archery, painted planes and cars, did the Chicken Squat Throws and enjoyed the bounce house at Legacy Park with the Friends of the Library. He probably did half of the events each had to offer and had a blast!
