Daniel Dopps Memorial Rodeo Committee hands out yearly donations to local organizations

This years Daniel Dopps Memorial Rodeo had another successful fund raising effort that benefits our local community.
Ramona Dopps introduced herself as the mother of Daniel Dopps, a local bullrider, who died in a rodeo accident 14 years ago. When she was approached about the possibility of having a memorial rodeo and bringing it to Mountain Home, after his passing, she was hesitant to agree, but her family realized this was a way to honor Daniel and keep him memory alive and do good deeds in his name at the same time.
They started out that first year with four members on the board and now have 21 board members that make up the rodeo committee and a board of directors, not to mention the countless volunteers over the years that have helped make this event possible.
