MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho, (July 20, 2019) – More than 90 volunteers converged on Hacker Middle School in Mountain Home today to help build the school’s first-ever playground.
Initially, about a dozen volunteers were expected to join city workers on the project, but once word of the project got out, dozens more offered their help. Mountain Home Mayor Rich Sykes worked alongside the volunteers and praised their dedication to helping the school’s students.
“It’s amazing to see everyone come together for it to truly be a ‘one town, one team’ function today,” said Sykes.
