The Governor proclaimed a day in honor of Ol-Charlie as “Charlie Bergstrom Day” He has his own day in Nevada!
He and “Sam” retired to Mountain Home in August of 1996, living the outdoor life they loved in Idaho.
Charlie lived well, loved his friends and animals as family. He left us peacefully with his family by his side and as he wished, with Grace and Dignity. He said to all of you, “Take er slow and easy”. Amen.
