Rugby Championships coming to town this weekend
Rugby isn't just growing in Mountain Home, it's growing throughout the state with teams popping up everywhere. On May 11, the best of those teams will be descending on Mountain Home.
Rugby Idaho will be holding all of their state championships at Legacy Park this year. Originally they had just planned to hold the Division Two game, the Mountain Home Mongrels division, here and the rest of the championships in Boise. After seeing the park, Mitch Castro, Executive Director of Rugby Idaho quickly changed course and decided to bring all 10 championship games to town.
Castro said that Legacy Park is a beautiful venue. He was amazed with how nice the park is, saying “that the grass is beautiful.”
