Howard Bailey Waterman
Howard Bailey Waterman, 92, of Mountain Home, formally of Payette, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2018, (exactly 8 years to the day that his wife passed away) at the home of his daughter, Joy Snider (David).
Howard was born on August 27, 1926, in Boise to Howard E. Waterman and Agnes Bailey Waterman. He graduated from Boise High and Boise Jr. College and received his Masters from Eastern Oregon University. He served his country during the Korean War in Germany as a military policeman.
He married Carlene Elaine Weiss on October 11, 1956 in Boise. They had two children; a daughter Joy and a son Jon. Dad was a teacher, photographer, a lover of Owyhee County and the Bruneau Canyon. He taught driver’s training, retiring after instructing the children of his 1st students! Dad was always seeking knowledge and encouraged his family to never stop being curious. Dad had a deep and abiding love for his Lord and Savior.
He was preceded in death by his wife Carlene of 54 years and his sister Carol. He is survived by his daughter, Joy Snider, son-in- law David Snider of Mountain Home, son Jon of Apache Junction, AZ, daughter-in-law Gabriela Waterman, of Mountain Home, grandchildren Jacob Snider, Rachel Smith (George), Ben Snider, Collum Waterman and Ciara Waterman and seven great-grandchildren.
Cremation was under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mtn Home.
