Town Hall meeting held regarding land evaluations
The Elmore County Commissioners called their regular meeting back into session at 6 p.m. on Aug. 17 in the upstairs courtroom at the Elmore County Courthouse. A town hall style meeting was held for the agricultural community to address the Idaho State Tax Commission on it's recommendations for tax increases to the irrigated cropland category.
In the previous week the Elmore County Assessor's office mailed out questionnaires to obtain additional local data from the area in an effort to give the tax commission more accurate data.
