Concerned Citizens of Mountain Home group plans to coordinate
After reaching out to them to hear their concerns with the downtown plan I was recently invited to attend a meeting of the Concerned Citizens of Mountain Home group. There was hesitancy on the part of the group to speak on the record with me in attendance. I was originally asked to not use names, but informed them that was not an option and is against the newspaper's policy. People were notified of who I was and were informed if they did not want their name used they should leave the meeting. Most in the room chose not to speak at all. I was told there is fear of retaliation for speaking out against the project by members of the group and the community.
