Brent P. Gaddis
A beloved father and husband, Brent P. Gaddis, passed away after a brief but difficult battle with lung cancer on May 24th, 2018. Born in Hillsboro, Illinois, he nevertheless considered the West his home and loved it with all his heart after moving to Laramie, WY as a child with his family and growing up there. The son of John Robert Gaddis II and Mary Gaddis (Green), he was the youngest of 4 brothers and enlisted in the USAF after completing high school. He served in Vietnam and was honorably discharged after 10 years of service in 1976. He went on to college and graduated in 1982 with a Bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State of Allendale, MI. After completing college, he eventually found himself down in Phoenix, Arizona where he met his future wife Patricia Brandenburg whom he had two sons with. Through circumstance, he and his family found themselves moving to Utah from Arizona in 2010 and have resided in West Jordan ever since, never far from the mountains of the Rockies that he cherished. Brent is survived by two sons, Matt and Ross, his wife of 32 years Patricia, and many nieces and nephews.
