WECRD moving forward with plans for a pool
The Western Elmore County Recreation District has had a very busy May. The directors cannot speak to each other outside of public meetings and there are a number of items to discuss regarding the construction of a recreational facility and the ongoing attempts to sell Railroad Park. A decision was made last month to begin holding meetings every Wednesday at 6 p.m. The majority of the meetings are quick and discussions revolve around things having to do with the daily operations of the district, such as who to use as a website carrier, a fence at the park that needs some repair work and other small items.
