Tiny house holds open house

Dave Holland's students took a moment to show off their hard work they completed this school year.

Every year students from the Gifted and Talented Program and students who are chosen as builders from the local elementary schools design and build a tiny house.

The students complete all aspects of the project with guidance from Holland.

This years tiny house was put on display for the public to view on the afternoon of May 18th.

The fully plumbed and electric ready home is 140 square feet and will be put up for sale on tinyhouses.com for $27,000.

The proceeds of the sell goes back into the program for next years build which is funded completely by private donations from the community and Holland himself.
