Friday, May 4, 2018

The Mountain Home Public Library Board of Trustees held a special meeting on April 24 to discuss cuts to the library's proposed 2018/19 fiscal year budget by the City of Mountain Home.
City Treasurer Paula Szafranski attended in place of City Councilman Matt Bundy, council liaison for the library. City Clerk Nina Patterson attended the meeting to represent Mayor Rich Sykes.
The special meeting was called after hearing from City Hall the library would lose $72,000 out of the requested funds.
