Blake Watson with Idaho Power, left, presented museum director Debbie Shoemaker, right, with $200 to help with preservation of museum property.
The money will be used to purchase a clear display case to house a 1914 Western Electric 400-watt lightbulb, still in mint condition. The bulb was donated in 1997 by Hal Walker, who was the district manager for Idaho Power for over 40 years.
The museum will also be purchasing a military coin rack to house over 54 military trading coins, all of which were recently donated by La Mode Cleaners.
“We are extremely thankful to Idaho Power for helping us protect these valuable items and have the opportunity to offer the public a chance to view them," said Shoemaker.
