Possible bullet cartridges found from WWII aircraft

After word got out that the Mountain Home News was going to begin using old microfilm to write a monthly history piece we have received a ton of interest from the community. In fact, it was through a question asked at the Mountain Home Museum that our staff learned of the World War Two era plane crash that I wrote about for the March 28 issue.
As we went to press last week I was really hoping someone would contact us with more information or even with artifacts believed to be from the crash site (in the article I stated that debris was scattered for a long ways and small items were being dug up for years). For the full story, pick up a copy of the Mountain Home News or click on this link to subscribe to the newspaper's online edition.
