Jesus Joaquin Concepcion
Jesus Joaquin Concepcion, age 69 of Mountain Home, passed away at St Luke's Hospital in Boise on Sunday March 18, 2018. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.
Jesus was born on Sept. 19, 1948, in Sinajana, Guam, the son of Manuel Garrido and Susana Angoco. He graduated from Guam Vocational High School in 1973.
He enlisted into the US Army and served for three years. While in Guam he also worked for LamLam Tours and Transportation. From Maina, Guam Jesus moved to Mountain Home, Idaho.
Jesus was formerly married to Marie Pangelinan and he had two children, Emmett and Jessica.
Jesus loved gardening, cooking and entertaining family and friends.
He is survived by his son Emmett Concepcion and his wife Tanya Aflague with their children Thomas, Tiana and Allie; his daughter Jessica and her husband Joey Palileo, with their children Kyle, Natasha, Tasi, Aaron, Jordan, Devin, Christian and Philip; step children Evelyn Baggaforo, Kenneth Pangelinan, Melissa Camacho, and Elaine Cepeda; his siblings Cecilia Crook and Dominga Torres, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Frank Concepcion, Danny Concepcion and Vicente Concepcion, and a grandson Alan.
