Local artist to speak at Bruneau Valley Library
The Bruneau Valley Library is pleased to have one of its own as the speaker for its Bruneau and Beyond program on Wednesday March 21, with artist in residence Don Collins as the presenter.
Last fall Don, his wife Carol and fellow artist Father Bruno who taught art at Gonzaga University embarked on a trip in which the gentlemen artists sketched their way through Italy, returning with their portfolios filled. The trip is the subject of Don's program.
Don taught art for the Elko County School District for about 25 years before he and Carol, a Bruneau native, settled in Bruneau. He then taught in the Bruneau-Grand View District for 10 years. For the full story, pick up a copy of the Mountain Home News or click on this link to subscribe to the newspaper's online edition.
