As a way to ensure all officers are prepared to fight the opioid crisis, the Idaho State Police has issued overdose reversal kits to all troopers and K9 handlers.
While law enforcement personnel regularly carry overdose reversal kits, ISP handlers will have access to injectable doses specifically for their dogs.
