Ramona Miller

Ramona Lee Rose Miller age 79, of Nampa, formerly of Mountain Home, passed away at a Nampa care center, on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Services will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church and burial with military honors will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, in Mountain Home. Arrangements were under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.

Ramona was born on July 22, 1938 in Bellevue, Washington to Marvin and Edith (Phips) Brimer. After graduating high school, Ramona joined the US Air Force and was stationed in San Francisco, California.

After her time in the Air Force, she married Calvin R. Miller and together, they raised 4 children; Casey, Calvin, Carl and Cletus. She held several different jobs to include a bartender, a dietician and a CNA. She was always known for her hard work ethics and dedication not only to work but also her family.

Ramona loved watching movies, polishing brass and growing flowers.

Ramona is survived by her sons Calvin, Carl, Cletus and his wife Felissa, granddaughter Colleen, grandson Douglas and his wife Jazmin, granddaughter Bailey, grandson Charles and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister and her daughter Casey.
