Saturday, July 15, 2017
Idaho's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell for the third consecutive month to 3.2 percent in May, underscoring the increased pressure among employers competing for workers, according to a report released Friday by the state labor department.
Last month's unemployment rate drop was the result of 2,200 Idahoans exiting the workforce or ending their work search, according to department analysts.
Total employment across the state fell by 1,250 while the total number of unemployed individuals fell by 950.
