Ruth E. Mashburn

Ruth Evelyn Mashburn went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 6, 2017, at the age of 103.

Ruth was born Nov. 25, 1913, to Franklin Clyde and Laura Soward LeMaster in Horseshoe Bend, Idaho.

She is survived by one son, Larry Mashburn of Mountain Home, Idaho; one daughter, Marie Holtman of Boise, Idaho; along with four grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Ruth is also survived by one brother, Robert LeMaster of Boise, Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank C. Mashburn.

She was a long-time resident of Mountain Home, where she and her husband were aircraft engine mechanics at the Mountain Home Air Force Base during World War II. After the war, Ruth worked for Mountain Bell until retirement, after which she traveled with her daughter and son-in-law.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home. A memorial service will be held following the graveside service at The Rock Church at 11:30 a.m.
