Mountain Home High School seniors honored
Lightning flashed across the sky while a steady stream of rain began to fall as local teachers and administrators stepped onto Tiger Field on Friday. As the Mountain Home High School band began to play, the ceremony continued as planned.
By the end of the evening, 191 students representing the high school's Class of 2017 marked the completion of their academic journey as they accepted their diplomas as part of this year's commencement.
"Each one of us was easily able to join the... family that is Mountain Home High School's Class of 2017," said senior class president Nick Parkinson. "From freshman orientation to homecoming halls... to senior farewell, we've been through it all together."
