Learning to fly

The Fisher family brought their boys to learn how to fly Saturday in Legacy Park. Hosted by the city parks and recreation department, the event drew people from across town to try their hand at getting their creations airborne.

Organizers presented a number of prizes to the youngest kite flyer, those able to get theirs to fly the highest, the kite with the longest tail and a number of other categories.
