Phil Hawkins, volunteer coordinator with the Boise Veterans Home, presents the organization's lifetime achievement award to Carol Dalton during a recent gathering. Dalton was recognized by the military veterans support organization for her service and leadership at veterans round table, gift shop, canteen and outreach program. In her many years of volunteering, her giving, caring and loving spirit make a direct impact on the residences of the home, officials with the Boise Veterans Home said.
