Heated discussion rises during rec district meeting

The latest meeting of the Western Elmore County Recreation District last week had the board taking one major action before the meeting ended and led to a melt down between the board and its critics.

In a unanimously decision, board members Judy Mayne and Art Nelson voted to move the meeting dates to the fourth Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m. with the exception of a budget meeting scheduled for Aug. 16.
