Report: State, county's population increased

Idaho's population continued a steady shift with more people moving from smaller to larger counties between July 2015 and July 2016, according to estimates released recently by the U.S. Census Bureau.

Overall, Idaho’s population grew 1.8 percent to 1,683,140 people.
