Tina Prior

Tina Lynn Prior, 60, of Yankton, S.D., and formerly of Mountain Home, Idaho, and El Cajon, Calif., passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday, April 9, 2017 at her residence. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Chapel, Yankton, S.D., with Rev. Rick Slattery officiating.

Tina was born April 10, 1956, in Amarillo, Texas, to Russell and Velda (Tucker) Woolverton. Tina was a proud mother, grandmother and great grandmother and was always passionate about her animals. The kid at heart in her loved a good game of Texas Hold’em, Pink Floyd, Green Day, Journey, and she could bring laughter to any situation with her "filter-less" crazy humor.

As she waits in Heaven with her family, she would want to extend that she is forever thankful to those who loved and supported her and her family through the years.

Tina is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Jack) Harris of Rome, Ga., and Kara (Craig Tokarick) Prior of Yankton, S.D.; her son, Bryan (Krysta) Prior of Yankton, S.D.; nine grandchildren, Jamie, Jesse, Justin, Clarissa Harris, Austin and Brooke Prior, Tyler, Jacob and Jaden Tokarick; five great grandchildren; sister, Cynthia Woolverton of Yankton, S.D., and her feline companion, Star.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Michael Prior; and nephew, Zachary Woolverton of Reno, Nev.
