Tigers fall to Warhawks
The Ridgevue soared onto the scoreboard with six runs at the top of the second while limiting Mountain Home to just three at the bottom of the third and four as the Warhawks clinched an easy 12-3 win on Friday.
Finishing the game with 12 runs off 10 hits, Ridgevue extended its lead to eight at the top of the fourth before clinching the contest with four more in the fifth.
Errors proved costly on both sides of the field with the Tigers and Warhawks finishing the game with four apiece.
Jase Bennett led Mountain Home on the mound with four strikeouts in four innings of play with Kage Southern adding another strikeout for the Tigers during the remaining three innings.
The Tigers head to Rodeo Park Thursday and Friday as they take on Pocatello, Nampa and Century before they travel to Skyview on Saturday for a 1 p.m. game. Mountain Home remains on the road on Monday as they battle Vallivue before they host the Caldwell Cougars at East Side Park for a 5 p.m. game.
