Child drowns in trail incident

A child from a Treasure Valley community drowned on Sunday after fast-moving river water swept him away from a camp site at the Willow Creek Trail Head off Blacks Creek Road.

According to Sheriff Mike Hollinshead, the child and his family had stopped at the camp site to go sightseeing that day when the incident happened.
