Zoey Bishopp drops money into a boot held by firefighter Elsa Guillen as members of the Mountain Home Fire Department collected donations during a fundraiser held Saturday at the
Brie'sta coffee shop. The fire department collected approximately $800 that day as Guillen and firefighter Hank Patrick prepare to participate in the 26th Annual Scott Firefighter Stairclimb, scheduled for March 12 at the Columbia Center in Seattle. The yearly effort raises money to benefit the national Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The city fire department will continue to raise money during a second community effort, scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the local Albertsons.
