P&Z approves OKs plans for proposed contractor yard

Plans to create a storage yard specifically for construction cranes took a step forward last week after the county planning and zoning commission approved the project.

During a meeting Jan. 18, the commission unanimously voted in favor of a permit submitted by Rocky Mountain Cranes to locate a contractor yard along North 18th Street in a section of agricultural land just north of the interstate.
