Amanda Olson of Mountain Home has announced her engagement to Connor Thompson of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in Northumberland, England.

The daughter of Rita and David Olson of Mountain Home, the bride-to-be is a high-fantasy author, free-lance editor and a wand maker.

The groom-to-be is the son of Claire Thompson of Blyth, Northumberland, England, and David and Anna Thompson Morpeth, Northumberland, England. He is the independent owner of Foxyaye Online merchandise.

The couple plans to hold a small, private ceremony in Mountain Home on April 15, 2017.
