Paper seeks photos for yearly guide

The Mountain Home News invites readers across Elmore County to be part of the 2017 visitor's guide by submitting their personal photos for the annual publication.

The newspaper staff is specifically looking for current high-resolution photos of people participating in recreational activities and yearly community events as well as scenic images of popular attractions and tourist destinations in the local area.

Submitted photos need a minimum resolution of 300 dots per inch based on an 8 X 10 inch image size. A brief one- or two-sentence description must accompany each photo as well as the photographer's name. Submissions are due to the newspaper office by 5 p.m. Feb. 17.

Starting this month, sales representatives from the Mountain Home News will take orders from advertisers with no price increases on ad spaces again this year. The magazines are distributed across Elmore County with copies donated to Mountain Home Air Force Base for inclusion in newcomer packages as well as multiple locations in town and on base.
