High school honors teen as its student of the month

Recognizing his contributions in the classroom and his desire to serve as a tutor for his peers, a junior at Mountain Home High School received recognition through a program aimed at recognizing students for these achievements.

Walker Harris was selected as the school's student of the month, which seeks create a culture of learning and stresses the values of academic success, civic involvement as well as personal character and values, according to school officials.
