Giving Tree tags still available

People in the Mountain Home area have an opportunity to help others in the community by joining this year's Giving Tree program. Tags identifying a child needing help are now available at selected businesses.

Those buying gifts for these children have until Dec. 16 to purchase and deliver the unwrapped presents to Giving Tree organizers. For more than 20 years, the all-volunteer effort helps hundreds of people here needing financial help in the form of holiday gifts for children up to 16 years old.

Organizers are needing supplies to help with this year's effort, including wrapping paper, tissue paper, shirt boxes.
