Mary Workman

Mary Agnes Workman, 79 of Union, Ore., passed away on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016 at her residence. A funeral service will be held at the La Grande Seventh-day Adventist Church on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, at 3 p.m. A graveside service will be held at the Idaho Veteran's State Cemetery in Boise, Idaho, on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, at 1 p.m.

Mary was born March 15, 1937, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Donald and Bernice (Kennedy) Stephenson. She resided in Mountain Home, Idaho, and Union, Ore. She married the love of her life, Harold Arthur Workman.

Mary was a nurse and later worked for the home health care services for 15 years in Mountain Home. She enjoyed the violin, gardening, baking, church activities, community activities and volunteer work. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in La Grande.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Andrea Wunderle (Paul) of Elgin, Ore., 10 siblings, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, and her parents, Donald and Bernice.
