City, WECRD officials meet to discuss project

Plans to rebuild an announcers' stand at the Optimist Park rodeo grounds took center stage Nov. 10 as city leaders and the Western Elmore County Recreation District board met to discuss a possible joint venture.

The announcers' booth is in a state of disrepair and deemed unsafe, prompting an effort to replace the wooden structure.
