Joining the walking dead...

The Grim Reaper leads a motley collection of parents and children as they make a trek through the city's downtown area during the community's first-ever zombie walk on Friday. About 30 people braved the rain as they walked, staggered and shuffled their way along the city streets enroute to Carl Miller Park to participate in the fundraiser, which will benefit the community's "Light the Forest" Christmas display at the community park.

Joshua Woods applies paint to Madison Lewis' face to simulate wounds as the youngster prepared to join the cast of the walking dead that afternoon. Volunteers helped a number of participants get into character by helping them apply paint to get them looking like zombies.
