Linda Blankenship
Linda S. Blankenship, age 72 of Mountain Home, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016, at her home. No formal services will be held. Cremation was under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.
Linda was born Aug. 14, 1944, the daughter of Delmar and Charlotte Prest in Council, Idaho.
Linda was a very thoughtful soul; quiet and reserved. She had the most kind smile. Her actions were a great example to us all on being the best person we could be every day.
She enjoyed the mountains as the peace and beauty had special memories of her own childhood with her parents and sisters. And now that she has left this world and is in Heaven with her family, we know she's always there with a twinkle in her eye and a big smile for us all.
Linda is survived by her daughters, Tammy Miller (Patrick Burns) of Mountain Home and Lorinda and her husband John Britten of Emmett; her son, Al and his wife, Nina Miller, of Twin Falls; her sister, Deline Anderson of Boise; and 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray; and two sisters.
