Didn't we vote for rec center?

Dear editor and everyone in the WECRD,

Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2016, at 5:30 p.m. at the Western Elmore County Recreation District Office is the budget hearing for the district. All of you who would like to be heard (how the current board is spending our tax dollars) be there.

The money is going to other taxing districts, $52,000 alone to school sports groups.

I, along with most of you, voted for a recreation building with the promise of an indoor swimming pool. The current board is now considering abolishing everything we have worked for over 16 years.

This hearing will give everyone a chance to be heard for what we voted for.

If you cannot be at the meeting, put your thoughts in writing and mail it to the board. Let them know what you think needs to be done with your tax dollars.
