Basque picnic celebration planned for Aug. 6

The Oinkari Dancers will highlight the evening's cultural activities during this year's Basque picnic, scheduled for Aug. 6 at the Basque Park in Mountain Home. The event will celebrate its 56th anniversary in Mountain Home next month.

People from Mountain Home and surrounding communities will relive the traditions, culture and language of the Basque people during an annual festival scheduled for Aug. 6.

Organizers will hold the community's 56th Annual Basque Picnic at Basque Park next to the Bengeochea Hotel.
