County fair opens to public July 20

The Western States Ranch Rodeo Association-sanctioned rodeo is scheduled for July 22 and 23 at the rodeo grounds in Glenns Ferry.

The Elmore County Fair is scheduled to run from July 20 to 23 at the fairgrounds off the interstate in Glenns Ferry.

This year, fair goers can expect to see a full-fledged carnival and a revamped line-up of family entertainment, organizers said.

In addition, many agricultural competitions and events will begin as early as July 17 on the fairgrounds.
