Raquel Navarro
Raquel P. Navarro of Mountain Home passed away June 21, 2016, at home with her family by her side at the age of 74. A viewing will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, and burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
Raquel was born to Guadalupe and Esther Navarro on July 23, 1941, in Tamaulipas, Mexico. She loved taking care of all the kids. She enjoyed spending all her time with family, playing games with all her nieces and nephews. Her nieces and nephews were her life.
She loved spending time outside taking care of her flowers and traveling to Texas. She lived in Alamo, Texas all of her life until the age of 48. She moved to Glenns Ferry in 1989.
Raquel is survived by her daughter/sister Rebecca Navarro (Isidro Vela); niece Milagros Vela (Luis Marquez) and her children, Adaliz and Luis Marquez; niece Massiel Vela (Mario Perez) and her children, Jason, Kaitlyn and Nick Reynaga; niece Oleida Dominguez (Jorge) and her children Christian and Aaliyha Dominguez; nephew Aaron Flores (Silvia); niece Elizabeth Flores; niece Martha Flores; niece Elias Lopez (Eva); niece Noemi Aleman (Jesse); Ignacio Lopez Jr. (Misty), Ismael Lopez (Bertha), Hilda Lopez Hinojosa, Anadelia Gonzalez (Juan); two brothers in-law Ignacio Lopez Sr. and Domingo Flores.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Esther Navarro; two brothers, Domingo and Daniel Navarro; and two sisters, Aurora N. Flores and Elva N. Lopez.
She is gone and has left us behind. She will be missed dearly and loved very much. We love you very much, but you're never going to be forgotten.
