Legion honors newspaper

The American Legion Department of Idaho will pause and formally honor the staff of the Mountain Home News in recognition of the newspaper's ongoing efforts to support military veterans in the local community.

In an announcement last week, the newspaper was selected for the American Legion's Fourth Estate Award, which is presented annually to the top news organization in the state.
