Walter Robson
Walter Alan Robson, age 60 of Mountain Home, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospital in Boise. No services will be held per his request. Cremation was under the care and direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.
Alan was born into an Air Force family to Andrew and Sylvia Robson on Nov. 6, 1955 on Walker AFB in Roswell, N.M., during the "UFO Invasion." Later, the family moved to Mountain Home AFB, where he started school.
Duty called, and the family moved to Puerto Rico. In 1967, the family moved back to Mountain Home where Alan graduated from high school.
After graduating, Alan went to training school and became a chef and a bartender. He worked at various establishments in Boise, Spokane and Portland. In 2014, Alan returned to Mountain Home due to an illness.
Alan is survived by his mother, Sylvia Robson of Mountain Home, sisters Stephanie Schmidt of Mountain Home and Diane Robson of Eagle, niece Shari Howard of Mountain Home and nephew Keven Burk of Taylor, Texas, and Sean Poulton of Nampa and nine great nieces and nephews. Alan is preceded in death by his father; one brother, Ronald; and a brother-in-law, Paul Schmidt.
