After putting in that much effort, Kiaya Morin and Grace Cruser were not going to simply give up. Taking a firm grip on the handheld saw once again, they continued to work in unison as the blade continued to slice through the piece of lumber.
For the most part, the task moved smoothly as the girls developed a rhythm that moved the saw back and forth. Occasionally, however, the blade would catch on something in the log and immediately halt their progress.
